Rosemary's Big Week

We have had a wonderful week with Rosemary the Pig. Rosemary is our class pig and we bring her to our house every so often. This week, we took Rosemary up to the lake to play with Nana and Gaga.

Happy Easter!

I am so thankful for our children! You could just pinch their little cheeks! During this time of reflection on the cross of Christ, it is wonderful to consider the richness of His blessings. The haste of everyday life pulls us away from recognizing and relishing in His continued work in our lives, particularly through our children. It is through our relationship with our children that God reveals more of Himself to us. How much more do we now know the sacrifice He made by giving His Son for our sins?

What a Day!!

Today was a very busy day, but it was so much fun! We started off the day at Morgan McMillan's birthday party where we played in the "soft play" area at the church all morning. A great way to start a day! We then went to a Easter Egg Hunt at the Akridge's house. It was a cold day but Mike started a fire for everyone and it was great. Becky then told the children the Easter story around the campfire and how God raised Jesus from the grave. All the children listened so well! And at the end of that time, Mike took Anne Stewart on a tractor ride. She was so happy as you can see from this picture. We then went to Sarah Kate Swann's birthday party which was awesome. We had an Easter Egg Hunt and we played lots of games.

Anne Stewart recently stayed with Mimi and Papa and they took some pictures of her outside (in the green shirt). It was funny because Anne Stewart posed in all of these pictures without any direction from Mimi. I took the two other pictures when she recently had pigtails put in her hair. She was so proud and loved them! She's also showing off her dance pose in the top picture as well. Looking forward to the dance recital for sure!
